Outstanding jacket. Fits well as an outer layer, fits over my plate carrier...or under it without issue. Deployed on a call-out in the rain the other day and the new jacket kept me dry and comfortable for the entire event dispite the impressive downpour. Coolest temps have been in the mid 50s so no real thermal challenge yet but with a layer I believe this will be an outstanding addition to the cold weather kit. Worth the outrageous and somewhat stupid price. You are paying for the dead bird and the workmanship behind it. The sleeves are articulated and the torso is appropriately cut for movement- not simply tubes attached to the trunk with a bag for your head. The hood fits well over a ballistic helmet and the shock cords work to tune the fit and keep the field of view clear. These small things come from great design and field testing - that’s where the money goes. I recommend the purchase.
