Condor Enforcer Releasable Plate Carrier Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

Really a fan of Condor products. Hats are comfy, vest is just right, and the pouches are well made. However, once my kit on the Enforcer was all assembled and ready to go, I gave the quick release system a test with all the weight. It failed. The plastic O-Ring snapped off like a plastic coat hanger. Really disappointed on the QA/QC on the plastic rings, but imma go get it replaced with a thick metal ring. It would be a five star plate carrier had that not happen.

This is an excellent piece of kit. Weighs less than my IBA. XL 11x14 SAPIs fit very tightly. Strong velcro. Tougher fabric than the monotone colors. Cumberbun holds chest seals well. Carrier holds all 4 M16 double mag pouches, 6 mag issue side mag pouch shingle, a chest G-code XD holster, IFAK in 100 round SAW pouch, maxpedition roly poly dump pouch, tactical tailor 3 pistol mag shingle, a GP small pouch all fit with plenty of room for trauma shears, unit patches. Even mates correctly with IBA shoulder yoke (keeps 2 point sling off of your neck). Fairly quick to get in to. Passes jumping jack test. Only 28 pounds with 2x 6.6lb XL SAPIs, yoke (IIIA), IIIA SAPI backers, all pockets noted, full US Army IFAK, 2xquickclots, surefire G2, 2x 16rd XD9 mags, shears and GP pocket with Gerber MP400, and IIIa IBA groin protector. Exact same rig weighed 35lb with IBA. Very pleased with actually, nonairsoft usable kit.

I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs.

Compared to the plate carrier I was issued in the marine corps, this carrier is better in every way.

- Far more comfortable.
- Much more MOLLE real estate.
- Cable release works wonderfully.
- Velcro is VERY strong.
- Much larger, more versatile pockets.
- Easily adjustable for size and fitment.
- Best carrier for the money, in my opinion.
- Will accomodate large/wrap around soft armor panels, and 11"x14" hard plates.

The only negative thing I could say about it, is the removable shoulder pads could be more padded, but thats an easy fix.

*Would not recommend if you are a smaller framed person. This is dimensionally larger than other plate carriers, and may not have enough cumberbun adjustment to accommodate a small/slender build.*

I am 5', 6" and 125lbs with a slender build and this fits great. I purchased size small armour plates and they fit perfectly inside. There are Velcro straps to secure them in place snuggly. There are clips for the waist that I did not find to be useful for tightening since the whole vest velcros in at the waist. I ended up removing the clips. The shoulder straps had to be pulled in pretty good to fit as well. The vest has plenty of loops for attachments and pockets for side plates. Overall am I very happy I found a vest that fits my small size, is of great quality, and for a decent price.

I purchased this carrier before I bought my plates and unfortunately I am regretting this. I have 2 11x14 plates from AR500 and they are both single layer spall coating. Unfortunately, it took my wife and I shoving and pulling to try to get the plate to fit into the sleeve, and we cannot get it to fit properly. My wife's 10x12 plates fit with very little movement or extra material, but my 11x14 plates just do not fit. I bought this carrier for those plates.

In addition, I have had some of the same problems others have. I am 6'3" tall, about 230, and this carrier is very hard to get small enough to fit properly. It just moves around to much.

Overall, very disappointed with it. I will be replacing it.

Ok, it holds plates and is good materials. But I'm 6ft, 205, and this things big! I've even adjusted past smallest with a little rigging... but huge, didn't hold plate where I wanted it, back panel now has so much extra can't hold my back plate up, does cover my kidneys hanging so low, but a high shit would hit vitals from behind. I have 2 mpoc and much better fit. Much better

Outstanding value and excellent quality.

Great bang for the buck. Don't really care about the quick release, but it does not seem to get in the way for those who just want a good carrier capable of soft and hard armor for a good price. Well made. Good color. Does what it's supposed to do. Haven't worn it in the field yet, but when I do I will try and update with comfort etc over prolonged wear.

This carrier is exactly as described on the website. Although it is a bit larger than I expected, that's OK, I'm a large guy (6'4" 225lbs - would fit on someone WAY larger). My 11"x14" plates fit in with plenty of room for trauma pads. Well constructed, has taken a beating already with no signs of wear, save a little dirt here and there. Adjustable, comfortable (for a large plate carrier) and the release is a great feature. Drag handle is rock solid like the rest of the construction and it was reasonably priced too. Job well done once again!
