Belleville's steel-toe 800 leather boots are ideal for keeping your feet dry in wet and icy conditions. The all-leather upper is suited for any weather and offers solid support and a secure fit. Thinsulate insulation warms your feet and GORE-TEX lining technology makes sure no water enters the boot. The Vibram Fire and Ice Chevron outsole provides maximum grip through mud, snow or ice. The boot's Vanguard sole construction also includes a cushioned, polyurethane midsole for additional comfort and support, as well as a similarly cushioned, removable insole. The mix of elemental protection, strong traction and comfort make this a great cold-weather footwear choice. Made in USA.

I wear a 9.5 Medium, so I ordered a 9 Medium. I tried putting on the boot with a pair of athletic socks, but found the boot to be too tight, so I tried them with an ultra thin dress sock. They fit fine, but wearing dress socks with a heavy-duty boot like this would never work. So, I ordered a the 9.5 Medium. These boots were simply too big, so I ordered the 9 Wide. At the same time, I ordered the USOT antimicrobial boot socks, which were surprisingly thin. The 9 Wide were just a little too sloppy, especially in the heel. Finally, I reordered the 9 Medium, and, for the most part, I am happy. My toes were just a little cramped in the right boot, but over time they loosened up a bit. I'm still waiting for winter to begin so that I can put these boots through the paces.

Excellent and comfortable to where. I have had one pair before for about six years and they past the test working on the flight line here, they pass the test with aircraft oils and rain no slip grip. So I ordered 2 more pairs!! to swap out in. Also the break-in time there wasn't any. Thanks Belleville and thanks Tactical Gear for selling them. Mike Mullikin Altus AFB,OK.

Gosh, where to start...

These boots are quite comfortable, and even after almost a full year of rather abusive use, they have not deteriorated at all. They hold a shine beautifully and are very resilient when faced with bad weather or water. It's great for cold conditions and will keep you well insulated. My only recommendation if you buy these boots is to swap out the insole with a more comfortable insert as soon as you buy it; you'll appreciate the added cushion. If you are military or prior military, this boot is an excellent choice. Check with your command first though, to make sure they allow them.

Mine ran mainly true to size, if not a little large. I recommend yoy order one half size up.

The shipping was very fast. The boots are great! But the two cons I had with this boot was that the gore-tex material was sticking out over the tounge on the boot and doesn't look that great, and I could feel the nail stick up a little bit from the bottom of the boot. I can still wear the boot but, it made my feet fell uncomfortable after long periods of training. The nail was not dramatic but it really made me mad because of the price of the boot. Besides the two small cons, this boot is a really good choice if you dont mind the price.

In a welding shop these boots have out lasted any other boot I've ever owned. Never get more than a year out of a work boot and these are 2 years old and are still in good shape. Replace insoles and toe guards when they wear through and they are like new. The only boot I have that I can wear all day on concrete and my heals are not aching. Plus its hard to find a reasonably priced American Made boot, but Belleville has done it.

I have had these boots for over a year and have put them through their paces. They are very rugged. I especially like the waterproofing. What I don't like is the way they feel clunky. The shin splints are another gripe as well. Despite that I still wear them in the woods because I know my feet are protected and kept warm and dry even while trudging through the snow. They are heavy, but their durability is OUTSTANDING!

I got my pair in 2009, and they're still going strong (although a bit worn by life on a submarine). These boots have literally been around the world with me. They've stood on the North Pole, caroused up and down the streets of Toulons, Bergen, and Glasgow, and most of all, they've stood up to the ins and outs of daily working life on a Navy submarine. I couldn't ask for better quality.
