Originally designed for Navy SEALs, the Altama OTB Maritime Assault was made for tactical water operations, but is versatile enough for everyday wear. These are equipped with high-abrasion and quick-drying Cordura quarter panels that are rugged enough to withstand repeated heavy-duty use. Air mesh linings in the shoe wick away water, sweat and anything in between. As you maneuver through wetlands, the drainage ports allow water to easily exit while you move. The outsoles are modified for wet tactical operations, making them one of the stickiest, high-traction rubber outsoles available. The Altama OTB Maritime Assault will keep you comfortable, supported and stable on any slippery mission. These shoes work with you, but also work for you.

These shoes rock but have a slight pressure point on my right foot after long periods of time in them. This could also be due to the fact that these run slightly narrow on the width end of things. A little thing to point out for you wider foot range guys or girls, don't get them unless you are willing to shove a meatloaf into a turkey, because it's going to be tight... shoes breath and my time with them on my motorcycle have been pretty enjoyable. Breathe easy and feel the shifts and breaks better than my regular steel toes on. Don't tug too hard on the back strap loop l, I've actually started separating the loop from the shoe only having them for less than 6 days. The insoles are alright, not super comfortable and also they are really, really, really!!!! Sticky so I recommend switching to aftermarket soles, unless you like having your sock rude back into the heel and bunch up. I've been having some issues if you can't already tell. These shoes are still awesome In my opinion though they have there pitfalls, but they do the job. 89 bucks for these shoes may come to you as a bit on the steep side for all the things I've listed. I do hope they read thus review and improve on thus design and make a second generation shoe with better everything.

These are awesome. What's not to like?
Super tough materials and they're very comfortable. The sole has good traction and is very supportive, while staying relatively flat.
My favorite new daily footwear for all occasions. I'm a 10 and the 10s fit perfect, very slightly more room for my toes when compared with regular size 10 shoes I wear.

First off, I've been dying to get my hands on these shoes for cool dude stuff. When I got them, they are made with authentic Multicam Black fabric, the insoles are actually good and offer good arc support, ventilate my feet, and are true to size. I ordered 9W, and matched the exact size of my Merrel MOABs in 9w.

I used them first with my Good Feet Ortho insoles and made my feet sweat. After a couple of days, I swapped them to the insoles it came with and my feet felt the same, but my feet ventilated per step I did (weird, but works). I used regular socks and smart wool socks, and smart wool were the best to keep my feet warm, and quickest to dry when stepped in a puddle.

I used them also as my training shoes for weight lifting. Flattest feet on ground when doing compound free weights as overhead press, bench press, dips, pullups, rows, deadlifts, and cardio mile run sessions. Also used them for urban training when doing range work.

Overall, this are truly meant for maritime operations by Tier 1 Operators around the globe, they are fin friendly for water infils, but as an avg dude who is not Mil active is the coolest pair of "combat chucks" anyone can buy.

PROs: Coolest combat chucks you can buy! Comfortable and ventilated at least for me.

CON: Will not recommend for use as an All Terrain Shoe. This are meant for flat dry/wet surfaces and ship/boat decks.

Came well packaged in a nice slide-out style box. There was a strong glue odor initially which gradually faded away in a couple of days. Appears to be well made. There were only a few spots where you could see excess glue between the canvas and rubber sole. The lug pattern on the sole or lack there of is great on the shooting range as it eliminates brass getting stuck in the grooves. I have wider feet so getting these shoes in wide was absolutely the best choice. On day one, I felt some discomfort around the upper ankles from the cuffs of the shoes. The rubber toe caps also create some pressure on the top of my feet. However, after wearing them for 3 to 4 days, the shoes broke in nicely and feels like a pair of sneakers now. They are a comfortable fit from heel to toe. The insoles do not provide a lot of arch support of which I did not expect them to. Overall, a great pair of shoes and I would definitely buy another one.

I found out about these shoes from a friend but was hesitant on pulling the trigger. When they arrived I tried them on and did not want to take them off! I’m actually deciding on which pair to buy next. Definitely recommend, don’t hesitate! LOL

These 'boots' are a departure from what I would normally wear for a trip to the BWCA. Working on breaking them in a bit. Slight pinch at the flex point that I'm hoping will feel better after some wear or my foot will toughen up a bit in that spot. The front shank feels a little funny on my left side. I must have a structural difference at the ball of my left foot because I feel pressure there when I wear these. I've never noticed it in any of my other boots. I'll try to do a follow up after the trip.

I wear a 10.5, the 11s fit nice. I tried a 10 and it was close but a little too tight.
Slightly narrow but nothing crazy.
They have wide sizes so try em out?
My advice, if you're a half size get two pair and return the one that doesn't fit as well. Go with the two sizes you are in between and get the smaller pair in a wide.
Immediately replace the insole if you aren't using for diving. 9.5R insoles from some Rocky's fit perfectly, literally same shape and size.

I have big surgery-damaged (major reconstructive surgeries on both feet) feet, every shoe I wear is a compromise, so I knew these might not be right for me. Impulse buy! I got the 14 wide and they fit ok. I think the standard width would’ve been too tight. Length-wise they feel good, my toe doesn’t hit or feel constricted. I first tried these on after a 10hr workday w/ swollen feet and ankles and they are surprisingly comfortable. I read reviews that these feel best after a 2 week-ish break in period so I anticipate they’ll just get better with use. I’m just happy they make a 14 wide, and I’d buy a 15 if they made one, to wear with thicker socks. I can’t speak to long term durability but 99% of reviews say these are tough shoes. Price is more than reasonable and they look cool. If they hold up well I’m going to buy a low top pair as well.

Great design and materials. I've used them in water and on land. They're light weigt, drain quick, dry fast, and the sticky soles do surprisingly well on dirt and rock terrain. The drainage port mesh material rips pretty easy in the brush, but even so it doesn't seem to cause a problem, just wish it was a little more robust. The glue used to seal the toe caps to the boot bleeds out a bit when they get hot. Minor issues overall, and I'll definitely buy another pair when these wear out. The coyote color looks great. More solid color choices would be great.

I ordered the multicam version of these shoes and could not be happier with them! They are extremely comfortable, and true to size. It is difficult to find proper fitting shoes for me since I wear a 14 in men’s, but these shoes fit great! I wear them every chance I get! I plan on ordering several more pairs in the future. I highly recommend these to anybody looking for a pair of high quality, comfortable shoes.
